General partner PJSC Gazprom

PJSC Gazprom is a global energy company. The main areas of focus are geological exploration, production, transportation, storage, processing and sales of gas, gas condensate and oil, sales of gas as motor fuel, as well as generation and marketing of heat and electric power.  Gazprom is a reliable supplier of gas to Russian and foreign consumers. The company owns the largest gas transportation system in the world with the length of 171.2 thousand km. More than 50% of all gas sold is sold in Russia. In addition to that, the company delivers gas to more than 30 neighboring countries and beyond. Gazprom actively supports the development of sports, including sailing. PJSC Gazprom and Saint Petersburg Yacht Club organize a series of children's sailing races "Optimists of the Northern Capital – the Gazprom Cup", Baltic offshore Nord Stream Race, and a number of other projects. Gazprom initiated the establishment of historical shipbuilding yard Poltava. 

 

Russian Yachting Federation 

The Russian Yachting Federation (RYF) is a representative of the International Sailing Federation – World Sailing – in Russia. It's a voluntary, self-managed, public organization, established to develop all types of sailing (yachting) at the whole territory of Russia. 

 

Saint Petersburg Sailing Union 

Saint Petersburg Sailing Union (SPSU) was established in 1910 and is a public agency with the authority to represent the interests of sailing sport development in Saint Petersburg during sports events. SPSU cooperates with international, Russian, and city organizations, that are entitled to develop sport and promote healthy lifestyle. The events, that ate initiated or organized by SPSU or with its support, comply with the international and Russian requirements and are enjoy approval and recognition of sailors. 

Nautor's Swan

Famous Finnish producer of luxury serial maxi class yachts. The history of the company dates back to 1966. Swans outstand with their combination of seaworthiness, high performance, and unique design. The yachts vary from 42 feet to 130 feet and are ideal for both comfortable cruising and transatlantic races. Moreover, Nautor’s Swan organizes the most interesting and popular maxi-races: Rolex Swan Cup, Giraglia Rolex Cup, PORC Caribbean 600. 

 

Atlantic Challenge Russia

Saint Petersburg Yacht Club and Foundation of maintenance, reconstruction and restoration of historical ships and classical yachts supports the Russian division of the international youth project Atlantic Challenge International. The purposes of Atlantic Challenge Project are to educate young people, to exchange traditions and cultures on the basis of building and using a sailing and rowing boat of the 18th c – captain’s gig. Atlantic Challenge Russia team is a multiple winner and prize taker of this high-profile competition. And in 2020, Saint Petersburg Yacht Club will host the international fleet of gigs in the aquatic area of River Neva for the first time ever. 

 

Ассоциация класса SB20

SB20 Association was founded with active support of Saint Petersburg Yacht Club in 2011 and since then the fleet of these modern sports yachts has been actively growing both in the Northern Capital and other regions of Russia. Association is a collective member of the International Sailing Federation and successfully represents the Russian SB20 fleet at the international level. Russian teams ranked among top five strongest teams at the world championship 2015. Saint Petersburg Yacht Club hosts Open Championship of Russia, stages of Association Cup and other competitions in this class on a regular basis. SB20 World Championship was organized in Saint Petersburg with the support of Saint Petersburg Yacht Club in 2014. 

Dragon Class Association 

The Russian fleet of “Dragon” yachts has earned a reputation of the most elite class among sailing boats over the past few decades. Sailing sport is open to everyone, and people with different social status observe common racing rules, participate in competitions and celebrate victories together. In the recent years, Saint Petersburg Yacht Club has hosted the Championship of Russia in this “royal” yacht class on a regular basis. In 2016, the Championship of Europe was organized here. Russian teams successfully represent our country at the largest world races. Thus, the team Anatoliy Loginov was awarded with a silver medal at the World Championship 2017.
